The Peugeot 307 replaced the Peugeot 306 as Peugeot’s M segment car. It was the first vehicle to use the PSA Peugeot Citroen’s platform two and introduce a torsion beam rear suspension. The revolutionary tall design of the body was later copied by many competitors. Initially launched as a hatchback, it later evolved into an SW, Estate and CC. A booted version was also introduced into the Chinese and South American markets - the 307 Sedan.
