partner combi gets quiksilver appeal

Saturday, 23 March 2002

The new Peugeot Partner Quiksilver combines the spaciousness and cheeky appeal of the Partner Combi with the stylish design touches seen on other members of Peugeot's Quiksilver family.

With prices starting from just £9,645 on-the-road, the eye-catching Partner Quiksilver offers great value for money. It is available with a choice of two economical engines - a 75 bhp, 1.4-litre petrol unit and 1.9-litre, 71 bhp diesel engine.

Its most distinctive and \'cool\' feature is an ingenious, multi-purpose roof. Light floods in through five, fixed glass panels overhead, while individual roof-mounted air vents with three-speed fan allow the three rear seat occupants to adjust the ventilation to their individual requirements.

Additional roof storage space supplements the outstanding capacity provided by the cube-like design, flat floor and split-folding rear seat. Twin overhead lockers above the rear seats provide a handy storage area and incorporate 12V accessory sockets, so the kids can power-up their electronic games for miles of fun without their batteries going flat.

In addition, there's a removable, full-width locker above the boot - useful for storing everything from skateboards to shopping bags - shelves above the driver and front passenger seats, and a front overhead box to store cassettes or CDs. Roof rails allow the Partner Quiksilver to easily carry external loads, so transporting surfboards, mountain bikes or other vital holiday accessories is a breeze.

The safety and security of all occupants is catered for with driver airbag, side impact beams, seatbelt pre-tensioners, engine immobiliser and remote control central door locking. Aluminium-coloured metallic paint and black door handles add to the Partner Quiksilver's great looks, while electric front windows, power steering, two side-sliding doors and exclusive black Quiksilver cloth trim make it comfortable to drive, and to be driven in.
