The PEUGEOT 3008 SUV has scooped the ‘Best Medium SUV’ accolade at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2020, marking four consecutive wins in the category.

Victory at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2020 rounds up a successful year for the PEUGEOT 3008 SUV after receiving a range of top industry awards, including ‘New Car of the Year’ title at the Auto Trader Awards 2019, and ‘Best Mid-Sized SUV’ prize in the 2019 Driver Power Survey.

The PEUGEOT 3008 SUV features cutting-edge technology including the innovative PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, 12.3-inch head-up digital instrument display and 8.0-inch capacitive touchscreen with Mirror Screen® functionality, comprising of Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™.

Judges praised the PEUGEOT 3008 SUV as a practical family car, with class leading levels of technology, a range of efficient petrol and diesel engines, engaging driving dynamics and stylish design in an affordable package.

The PEUGEOT 3008 SUV GT HYBRID4 will be one of several electrified vehicles PEUGEOT will be introducing as part of a plan to provide a fully electrified model range by 2023. The all-new PEUGEOT e-208 will be the first electric model for UK drivers to get behind the wheel of from January 2020.

PEUGEOT’s ‘choose your PEUGEOT, choose your powertrain’ philosophy is rooted in its aim of ‘Unboring the Future’ through offering each of its vehicles with a choice of efficient petrol and diesel engines, as well as an electrified variant by 2023.

Carbuyer present awards across 22 categories, with the winners determined by the car types that received the largest search volume and page views on the website in the last 12 months. The individual categories reflect the sectors that matter most to in-market car buyers.
