The PEUGEOT 3008 SUV has topped the Driver Power rankings to take home the ‘Best Mid-Sized SUV’ award for the second year in a row.

Since its launch in late 2016, PEUGEOT 3008 SUV owners have voted the model as the ‘Best Mid-Sized SUV’ twice in the Driver Power survey, with PEUGEOT beating a wide field of rivals to the title.

The award highlights the work PEUGEOT has undertaken in both design and engineering to deliver the highest-quality vehicles with an instinctive driving and ownership experience. Since its launch, the 3008 SUV has scooped up 64 awards from both UK and international panels.

Driver Power is the UK’s number one car customer satisfaction survey, conducted by one of the UK’s leading automotive titles Auto Express. New car owners rank their vehicles across nine categories, made up of 31 different areas – including how well their vehicle drives and handles, exterior and interior design, whether the engine and gearbox are smooth and refined, as well as a comprehensive analysis of build quality and reliability. The survey gives potential buyers a complete picture of vehicle ownership.

Owners of the 3008 SUV praised the model for its space and design, with the infotainment and PEUGEOT’s i-Cockpit ® receiving positive reviews. The car’s smooth and refined handling was also a highlight, as were the host of safety features on board – including autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

David Peel, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK said: “We measure our success not only in vehicle sales but also in owner feedback. Winning such a prestigious award shows our hard work pays off, as customers continue to love our vehicles year after year. We are very happy to see the 3008 SUV excel in all the survey categories, and are delighted to receive this award once again.”

Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief of Auto Express, said: “We love the PEUGEOT 3008 SUV’s style, technology and practicality - and our readers agree. In our Driver Power 2019 survey, owners heaped praise on the SUV’s smooth gearboxes, quiet engines and overall build quality. The 3008 SUV impressed when it first went on sale, and continues to delight owners several years on. A tremendous result.”

The PEUGEOT 3008 SUV starts from £24,580 OTR and is available in the following trim levels: Active, Allure, GT Line, GT Line Premium and GT. The 3008 SUV is offered with a choice of efficient diesel or petrol engines, seats up to 5-adult passengers and can achieve up to 56.3mpg*.
